It’s not everyday you have a PRO Downhill Mountain Bike racer stop by the shop fresh off competing at the US OPEN in Deer Valley, UT!

Meet Connor Casler. Connor is originally from St. Louis area, now lives in Knoxville (to train near Windrock Bike Park), and has family here in central Illinois. Let’s just say, there was A LOT of talking all things 2-wheels and racing over the past 2-days 🤘. Connor proved to be a kind, humble, and respectful kid (to me, kid haha) with a load of talent I’m extremely envious of. If you’re on Instagram and into mountain bikes, he’s a great follow at .

The SLF Motion System we produced to match a 2025 Limited Edition Specialized Tarmac proved to be SLF Motion’s highest ever performing social media post (close to 400,000 native views on our Instagram account).

Fast forward and we just released this beauty to match the 2026 Limited Edition Specialized Tarmac. Here’s to hoping we can outdo the social media numbers from last year 😜🤘

That...was...a...success!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

For a short 4-Day notice, that was freaking awesome! Thanks to each and every one of you for driving to Pawnee and making this ride happen. Also, thanks to everyone who purchased some type of product today, mucho appreciated!

I hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed your chosen route. Both groups were filled with fantastic riders and even better humans.

Should we run-it-back in early October?! Knowing the roads will be better (ability to choose a better route back from Morrisonville) and the weather even nicer!

64 degrees at 8am?! Not even 80 degrees by the time we're done?! I'm not sure there's an excuse good enough to miss tomorrow's ride from the shop.

There will be a 51-mile route that will average 18-20mph (maybe spicier at times) and there will be a 31-mile route that will average 15mph.

I'll say it again - central Illinois roads will always be central Illinois roads this time of year. Especially with the recent high temps, there is ALWAYS a chance of unexpected fresh rock on country roads...expect it, prepare for it, and deal with it haha. I'll personally be on a 30mm tire road bike and will be just fine...but again, it may be forced to roll on some fresh rock 🙂.

Name decals (and AXS battery decals) are ready for pickup/shipping. They are $15 per 8-name pack. A few things:

1) If you’re planning to join us for the Labor Day morning ride, they will be available for pickup before and/or after the ride. Cash or Venmo only.

2) If you need them shipped, I can do so via an envelope and snail mail for an extra $2. Please private message me with shipping information and I’ll provide Venmo info.

3) Again…Cash or Venmo only (I don’t have a way to run a credit card)

Labor Day RYMA Group Ride - LETS PACK THE SQUARE!!

Where? RYMA Technology in Pawnee, IL

When? Monday September 7th 2026

What time? ROLLING OUT AT 8:00 AM

Distance? ~50 Miles with a Casey’s stop at mile 30

Pace/Speed? Group determines that. If enough people show, we can break into a couple different groups...otherwise, it might get a bit spicy ;-).

The shop WILL be open before and after the ride. There might just be some donuts on the counter!

I will drive the route to ensure there’s no major gravel or terrible roads beforehand. Once I'm able to confirm the roads, I'll post the route file so everyone can download it if they choose. Hope to see everyone there on Monday to take advantage of the holiday 🙌🏽

**If anyone thinks a 7:00 am start time would be more beneficial from a temp standpoint let me know in the comments as well. Whatever time gets the most bikes there makes me happy 🙌🏽**
