At Pawnee, our motto is simple — .
If we’re not up, we’re getting up.
That phrase isn’t just a slogan we throw on a t-shirt. It’s a mindset. It’s who we are. In a world that constantly measures success by wins and losses, we choose to focus on the process, not the product. Because if we get caught chasing results, we lose sight of what truly matters growth, discipline, accountability, and relentless effort.
Our players are taught that the process is where greatness is built. Every practice rep. Every film session. Every lift. Every moment of adversity.
That’s where we Rise Up.
We remind our team often, our purpose isn’t just to create football players. We coach to help build great young men into future leaders, fathers, husbands, bosses, and coworkers. The lessons learned from the process, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and accountability will carry far beyond their time under the lights. When our players commit to the process, they’re not chasing wins; they’re preparing for life. And that’s what true success looks like.
This year, our seniors embodied that message. They didn’t just play football, they built a culture and set a standard. They showed our underclassmen what it means to rise after a setback, work when no one’s watching, and lead when things get hard.
Their impact will echo long after the final whistle.
So as this season comes to a close, we’re grateful.
Grateful for the growth.
Grateful for the grit.
Grateful for a group of young men who chose to Rise Up every day.
Because at Pawnee, we’re not defined by a record. We’re defined by how we respond.
And no matter the outcome, we’ll keep rising.
