Found phone -
This phone was found in the sand on 11/30/25 by kayakers at Midway Inlet (the inlet between the north end of Pawleys Island and the south end of south Litchfield Beach).There is substantial moisture between the case and phone indicating it was submerged at some point. To claim it call Pawleys Kayaks at 843-315-4567.

Tired of looking at all the campaign signs? So are we! Even most political candidates and advocates for various topics dislike the signs, as well. Unfortunately, they have become part of the process.

Turn those campaign signs into Christmas gifts or personal fun!!

Pawleys Kayaks is providing the opportunity to receive a $.50 credit toward rentals or purchase of a Pawleys Island-opoly game for all the signs that are collected at Pawleys Island and in the surrounding Georgetown County area.

The Rules and Fine Print:

1. Signs must be turned over to Pawleys Kayaks by 5pm on Wednesday November 6th for return to their party or group. (843-315-4567)

2. Signs can not be removed from any private property or from a right of way, if obviously placed by the respective business or adjacent homeowner.

3. Signs from another County or their topics will not be accepted. A few signs such as Presidential and Representative signs in Horry County have been marked and will completely disqualify anyone submitting them.

4. Do not collect any signs prior to Georgetown County polls closing today, Tuesday November 5th.

5. Roadways can be dangerous and participation is 100% at your own risk.

Peeps, Show your love and support for our Pawleys Island area bartender …. Adam Gerrits has been a face at the Pawleys Island Tavern (The PIT) for about 20 years, most as an awesome bartender. Please take the time to click a vote for him. It appears this voting is being affected by votes on the northern tip of the Grand Strand (Little River) and beyond. If you’ve been to the Pit over the years or during your visits you’ve inevitably been helped by Adam. Whether you’ve ordered from the bar or through your waitstaff, he’s likely fixed you a quality beverage. There are too many Peeps and visitors to Pawleys Island for the win to go to Little River.
