This weekend has the potential to be THE BEST golf weather of 2026. Low 80s with barely any humidity. After 2 days of non stop rain the course will be in top notch shape. Hole 9 on the white course is probably the most difficult 9th hole on the course. Water on the left and right as well as trees can make finding the fairway a challenge. The tee box sits 26 ft above the lowest part of the fairway and then its another 32ft uphill to the green which is a challenge all in itself.

Experienced PART-TIME COOK needed.

Elmridge Golf Course is seeking a reliable individual with solid kitchen skills to join our team. This seasonal job runs from May to October. Flexible scheduling.

We offer a basic pub menu with daily specials. We also host occasional banquets for golf tournaments and outside events featuring traditional menu options. Hours are flexible, but must be available on weekends. Competitive hourly wage depending on experience.

The golf course typically opens in early April and closes around Thanksgiving. Fun environment and great people to work with. Discounted golf membership available if you are scheduled to work for at least 20 hours/week.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and adhere to food safety regulations.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary..
Maintain a positive working environment by supporting fellow team members.

Experience:

Previous experience in the food service or food industry is required.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Take food and beverage orders and place orders in the point of
Sale system.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Set and clear tables in dining areas.
• Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws.
• Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is
prepared accordingly.
• Prepare guest check and if appropriate complete payment
transaction.
• Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending
and bussing in the event of staff staffing shortages or peak
periods.
• Previous food and beverage experience required or
equivalent training.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• TIPS certification preferred.
