Elmridge Golf Course is seeking a reliable individual with solid kitchen skills to join our team. This seasonal job runs from May to October. Flexible scheduling.

We offer a basic pub menu with daily specials. We also host occasional banquets for golf tournaments and outside events featuring traditional menu options. Hours are flexible, but must be available on weekends. Competitive hourly wage depending on experience.

The golf course typically opens in early April and closes around Thanksgiving. Fun environment and great people to work with. Discounted golf membership available if you are scheduled to work for at least 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and adhere to food safety regulations.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary..
Maintain a positive working environment by supporting fellow team members.

Experience:

Previous experience in the food service or food industry is required.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Take food and beverage orders and place orders in the point of
Sale system.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Set and clear tables in dining areas.
• Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws.
• Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is
prepared accordingly.
• Prepare guest check and if appropriate complete payment
transaction.
• Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending
and bussing in the event of staff staffing shortages or peak
periods.
• Previous food and beverage experience required or
equivalent training.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• TIPS certification preferred.

Hole 5 looks a little different this year 👀. The downhill par 3 on the red course is a fan favorite for many golfers here at Elmridge. We took down all the reeds surrounding the pond and filled in the bunker on the front left.
