🇺🇸🌍 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲.

Freshman Rowan Tanguay earned a spot on the U.S. Biathlon Junior National Team and represented Team USA at the 2026 IBU Junior World Championships in Germany after a standout performance at the U.S. Junior Trials.

After competing against the world’s top junior biathletes, Rowan returned to help lead the Bobcats to a National Runner-Up finish at the USCSA National Championships while earning four All-American honors in her first collegiate season.

A remarkable year for one of the nation’s rising biathlon stars—and the journey is just getting started.

Paul Smith's College is proud to announce that Delaney Curley '26 has been named the recipient of the P.F. English Memorial Award, presented annually by the Northeast Section of The Wildlife Society (NE TWS) to an outstanding undergraduate senior in wildlife biology or wildlife management.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 🌎🎣

On April 4, the Paul Smith’s College Bass Fishing team made the 1,400-mile journey to Table Rock Lake in Missouri to compete in the MLF Collegiate Tournament. After a 4-day grind of practice, four Smitty squads hit the water ready to compete against 210 teams in an 8-hour battle.

The team found success across all three black bass species and landed 100+ fish in practice, highlighted by Clayton Leblanc’s 5lb 13oz largemouth 💪

On tournament day, the Bobcats battled tough conditions and heavy pressure, with Mitchell Wallace & Collin Trapiss leading the way with a 12lb 12oz bag (5 fish).

Strong effort, resilience, and a great showing on the national stage 👏
