1st Place: Alex Kuzar -19.25"
2nd Place: Stella Winslow -17.25" and 2lbs. 4oz.
3rd Place: Dawson Howard- 17.25" and 2 lbs. 3oz.

Ages 10-15:
1st Place: Zaiden Walk-19.5"
2nd Place: Ella Crowell- 17.75"

The Patton Trout Nursey Club would like to thank the sponsors and volunteers who worked hard to make this year’s Kid’s Derby possible. Without their generosity, we would not be able to continue this annual tradition.

We hope all of our participants enjoyed this year's derby and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Parking Reminder for Derby Day (Saturday):

To help support our local businesses, please do not park in the Sheetz lot or any active business parking areas.

Available parking can be found:
• Between the creek and the railroad tracks
• Behind Route 36 Automotive Repair
• In the Sons of Italy parking lot

UPDATE: The sign should read kids 17 and UNDER can fish after the derby.

This year you will see updated signs throughout the derby listing the rules. We would like to thank Com-Print of Patton for their help in updating our signs this year!

PUBLIC NOTICE – CHEST CREEK FISHING RESTRICTIONS
As we gear up for our Annual Kids Fishing Derby, a temporary fishing restriction has been put in place through a special events permit with the Fish and Boat Commission. This restriction will be in place along Chest Creek from the old dam to the bridge.

Restriction Details:
Beginning at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 29th through dark on Sunday, May 31st, fishing in this designated area will be limited to children only.

The members of the Patton Trout Nursery Club kindly ask for your cooperation in respecting this restriction so we can ensure a great experience and preserve stocked trout for our youth.

Get a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Derby Prep!

Ever wonder what goes into getting the creek ready for the Kids Derby? Here’s your chance to see it firsthand and be part of the action!

This Friday, we’re teaming up with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to stock Chest Creek in preparation for the big day. It’s a great opportunity to pitch in, enjoy some fresh air, and even sneak a peek at the fish before the kids get their lines in the water.

Volunteer Details:
Meet at the Nursery site at 9:00 AM to help load tanks and prep for delivery. We’ll then connect with the stocking truck around 10:30 AM to release the fish into the creek.

Weather Note:
All plans are weather-dependent, so be sure to follow our page for any updates.

We are looking for volunteers to help us set up for the Kids Derby this Saturday. Volunteers are to meet at the Patton Trout Nursery Site on Magee Avenue at 5pm on Friday.

Teams will work to gather supplies from the shed and bring them down to Chest Creek. Once all the supplies are at Chest Creek, we will need help setting up the tents and tables.
