Shearwater Firmware V99 for Perdix 2 has just been released. This update adds Avelo Mode as an unlockable upgrade, and also improves the battery gauge.

Note, there are new storage recommendations depending on which type of battery you are using. To summarize, if you are using a 1.5V Lithium, you can leave the battery installed during storage. 1.5V Alkaline batteries should still be removed during storage as they are prone to leakage.

In the winter months the Bahamas are home to many species of sharks. Most famously, the Great Hammerhead Shark concentration near Bimini during this time attracts divers (& photographers) from worldwide.

Dive Kwaj will be visiting two shark hotspots, Nassau & Bimini and traveling via the Carnival Freedom. Right now, the cost is $600 per diver.

New feature alert! Bluetooth Quick Connect is now available with the most recent Shearwater Cloud update. Once your dive computer is auto-connected, your dive logs will download automatically every time you open the app and turn on Bluetooth on your Shearwater dive computer.
