Good Morning Eastside Ghosts, International, Harp, Rosa Parks, Destiny Academy, Silk City, Yes Academy, Panther and Great Falls Academy students.
We welcome you to come and try out for the Eastside high School softball program, March 6, 2015 at Paterson Public School #15. Tryouts will take place inside the school gymnasium and begin at 3:45 pm and end at 6 pm. You will need the following items to participate in this tryout:
Physical- you must either have the form completed by the school nurse that states you have a physical and you are cleared to participate in a sport. This form is ONE page only. You may also bring the complete physical form packet titled Paterson Board of Education Physical Form Packet. This form must be completed and filled out by the student, parent and the doctor. IT IS NOT VALID WITHOUT THE SIGNATURE AND STAMP FROM THE DOCTOR.
Clothing /Equipment - you must be dressed in the same attire that you would wear to your school’s gym class. This means sweats, long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts, hoodies and sneakers. Please bring a glove if you have one because we will not be providing gloves for anyone.
Appearance- NO JEWELRY, all hair below your shoulders must be worn in a pony tail.
Grades- if you have it, please bring your last report card. If you have two F's, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE!!
FYI: THIS IS NOT A PLAYGROUND. YOU ARE COMING TO THIS FACILITY BECAUSE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR EASTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL'S SOFTBALL PROGRAM. THE GYMNASIUM IS SMALL SO IT IS IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE IS PAYING ATTENTION AND FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS SO THAT NOBODY GETS HURT. IT IS A PRIVILEGE FOR US TO BE ABLE TO UTILIZE THE GYM DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER SO WE ASK THAT YOU REMAIN OUTSIDE OF THE SCHOOL AND OFF OF THE STAIRS UNTIL A MEMBER OF THE COACHING STAFF HAS ARRIVED!!!! THE EMPLOYEES FROM SCHOOL #15 SHOULD NOT BE ASKING STUDENTS TO MOVE OFF OF THE STAIRS SO THAT THEY CAN EXIT THE BUILDING. ITS IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOLLOWED AND ANYONE THAT DOES NOT FOLLOW THEM WILL BE ASKED NOT TO RETURN TO TRYOUTS.
