the 54 ft. from November thru Feb. each year.

Dogwood Lodge- Hopedale, LA We specialize in day and multi-day trips to the Chandeleur Islands, Biloxi Marsh,
Mississippi Sound, Cat and Ship Islands. Southern Cross vessels which are staffed by a courteous and
professional crew. We also own and operate the SWC Sportsmans Lodge which is located in Venice, La. from March thru October and then in Hopedale, La. We specialize in offshore fishing trips for tuna, wahoo, marlin, grouper and snapper. We offer inshore and near shore fishing for redfish and speckled trout and other species. In the fall and winter months we concentrate on fly fishing for trophy redfish in the world famous Biloxi Marsh.

This year looked a little different for my South African group. Our first major cold front hit the day before they arrived with 35mph winds, delayed flights arriving at 3am, coming from a challenging week in Mexico, and being greeted on day 1 of fishing here with 25+mph winds. They said no way are they staying off the water! We pushed through with challenging and slow days, but we had shots and capitalized on some. The addiction has begun for the new ones and they will be back to see what it’s really like here! Nice work, gents, and looking forward to having you back. Mavungana Flyfishing
