Today is Sydney's baptism anniversary.

I had her baptized when she was a few weeks old at Faith Lutheran Church in Yuma, AZ.

I took her to church for many years but when she became a pre teen she started rebelling 🙁 she hasn't been since and shows no interest in going.

However, I have faith that she will get out of this phase even if it takes a few more years.

Truth be told.....I felt sick Wednesday evening. I knew something was going on because I was exhausted and just wanted to go to bed.....at it was 630pm!

I started to worry about Thanksgiving......what if I couldn't go? How is Sydney going to drive? What about the mashed potatoes?

I took deep breaths and controlled what i could at that minute and that was going to sleep. So I did.

I woke up Thursday and was feeling ok until about 10am. I texted my mom worried that maybe I won't be able to go.

But then, around 2pm I started feeling better and I knew it was the Shakeology that I've been drinking for over 8 years now.

Yes, I still get sick but it's so minor that it doesn't take over my life anymore! And it's because of this AMAZING nutriend dense shake.

Going to get a little personal and yes, I talked to Sydney about this...

Abortion would have been the easiest thing for me to do at 34, living in az making 1800 a month. Especially since technically I was drunk and according to law, that wasn't consent. PLUS a very real chance she could have had down syndrome because of my age.

But I chose to have her. Living in 1800 a month. Living less than pay check to paycheck. There were times I couldn't afford childcare and a time I swallowed my pride and went to salvation army with Sydney in tow wearing her last diaper as I shamefully asked for help. And was then put on WIC.

And I wouldn't change the decision to have her for the world.

This is why life matters!

P.S. Be the advocate of facts and relay to your kids (as appropriate), friends and family that NOTHING with abortion will change. There are SO MANY false narratives designed to get people riled up with their emotions.

D and Cs, C sections and medically induced abortions are STILL LEGAL IF THE MOTHER'S LIFE IS IN DANGER.

A President has NO control over abortion laws!!!! President Trump left it up to the STATES. So, if you have an issue with your state, start at that level with your legislature.

Let's stop the craziness.

I don't mean to slap you in the face but.....
We can't argue with this....

To add on, we could also call it "let's awaken our cancer cells season"

Listen, I get it. But watch what you tell yourself... "I deserve it" also means "I deserve to get sick". "Once in awhile is ok" is just justifying your guilt in caving into these foods.

And know, these foods are not meant for you to have 1 bite or 1 item and be done.
Instead, they are meant to start a sugar addiction and for you to crave more and be mad when someone posts a post like mine.

But here's a HUGE tip that will help....

BEFORE you eat sugar, eat 1 cup of veggies and 4oz of protein BEFORE you eat the treat. This will help stabalize your blood sugars so the effect will be less than if you eat
the sugar on an empty stomach.
