My lunch this week...
Homemade Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Muffin 🍳
This can be easily meal prepped. Cook egg "patties" ahead. Assemble fresh or frozen sausage patty, egg patty, cheese, and muffin. Wrap in parchment paper and freeze. Pop them in the microwave at work (or home) and you have an easy meal on the go.
The best part... you can save 200-300 calories by making them at home (not to mention saving money.)
I used:
- Great value frozen turkey sausage patty
- Great value egg substitute
- 2% milk Kraft American cheese
- 647 english muffin.. this totaled to 275 calories
(You can switch out or add any of your own ingredients.)
