Today’s a big day at the field! Stage One of our field overhaul officially kicked off at 7am this morning! 🙌

What’s happening in Stage One?
✨ Surveying & measurements
✨ Batter’s box refresh
✨ Pitcher’s mound reconstruction
✨ Baseline edging + corner cutouts

🚨 Important heads-up for practices today, 2/13 and through the weekend and next week:
The mound and batter’s boxes are the most delicate spots right now, so if you’re out there this evening, please steer clear of those areas. The clay needs a little beauty rest to settle, blend, and dry.

Fun fact: we’re raising the mound to official regulation height (6”) and yes, that means 1,000 lbs of clay showed up this morning!! 💪🏽💪🏽

⚾️ T-BALL, THEY’RE READY TO PLAY BALL! ⚾️

What a home run of a morning at our Pasadena Southwest Little League T-Ball Open House! The smiles were big, the bats were tiny, and the excitement was off the charts. These future all-stars are officially warmed up and ready to roll 🥹✨

☕️ MAJOR shout-out to Dan Francisco Coffee for being our Snack Shack sponsors this season AND for fueling all the parents this morning with much-needed coffee. We appreciate you!

👏 Huge thanks to our amazing Tee-Ball Coordinators Lindsay Amstutz and Roy Gastelum for knocking it out of the park and making this morning such a grand slam for our littlest players.

And of course, extra love to our Majors players Archie Marrs and Travis Sullivan for jumping in with the assists and showing these T-Ballers how it’s done. Big kids, big hearts 💙

Spring baseball is officially in full swing and we’re bat-tastic excited for the season ahead! ⚾️🌟

⚾️ Tee-Ball Season Kickoff! ⚾️

To get the season started, please join us for our Tee-Ball Open House
📅 Saturday, February 7
⏰ 9:00–10:30 AM
📍 Grant Park

What to expect:
• Welcome from your Tee-Ball Coordinators, Roy & Lindsay
• Meet this season’s coaches
• Tee-Ball activities for the kids + Run the Bases 🏃‍♂️
• Equipment Exchange (bring gear your family no longer needs)
• Drop off any required documentation
• Review of important dates
▫️ Practices begin late February
▫️ First game: March 7
• And most importantly… coffee ☕️😉

We can’t wait to kick off a fun season together! 💙⚾️

⚾️ Player Evaluations Are Coming Up! ⚾️

📍 Brookside Park
🗓 Saturday, January 10th
📍 Fields #2 & #3

All registered players planning to play in AA, AAA, or Majors must attend player evaluations to help us create fair, balanced, and competitive teams for the season ahead.

👉 Please be sure to review the evaluation schedule for your player’s assigned time.
🚧 Due to the Allendale Field closure, all evaluations will be held at Brookside Park.

⏰ Make-up evaluations will be available on Tuesday, January 13th for those unable to attend on Saturday.

We can’t wait to see our players out on the field—let’s get this season started! ⚾️🙌

Looks like Santa sent his hardest-working elves early this year 🎅✨

Our fields crew has been busy getting the field ready for the incoming rain, and they weren’t alone, dads, kids, and even grandpa jumped in to help. Proof that a little holiday spirit (and teamwork) goes a long way when there’s work to be done ⚾️

We’re so grateful for our PSWLL fields crew who showed up, pitched in, and helped protect the field we all love. Community effort at its finest, rain or shine. ❤️🎄

Appreciation Post: Huge shoutout to the City of Pasadena and our amazing Parks & Recreation team, including City Councilman Jason Lyon for taking such incredible pride in our fields. We love our city and we’re so grateful for the support!

This is Stephen, and he’s not only leveling out the outfield with new soil + seed, he’s making sure the school protects the area while it heals 🙌 He even offered to tape off the treated spots so our players stay safe. Talk about teamwork!

A huge thank you to Board Members Danny Alaniz and his team AND the incredible City of Pasadena Parks & Rec crew! They’re out at Allendale putting in the behind-the-scenes hustle so our kids can shine this spring. 🌱⚾️

As a reminder, Allendale Field is closed for maintenance, but spring registration is still open and filling up faster than a stolen base attempt. 😉
