Please welcome our RBD Alumni Josh Thai back to Rose Bowl — this time as a member of our coaching staff! 🙌

Josh came through our program as a young diver, went on to compete at Cal, became a 4x NCAA All-American, and took the next step all the way to the U.S. Olympic Trials in ‘22 (but maybe we can convince him for a 2028 run?) 🇺🇸

Now he’s back on the same boards where it all started — ready to help the next generation of Rose Bowl divers chase some big goals of their own.

From athlete ➡️ All-American ➡️ Olympic Trials ➡️ Coach.

Welcome back home, Josh!🌹

New season = new dryland upgrades! 🔝

It was a bust August and September months at the bowl, but we are happy to report the upgrade of our warm up area with a new spring floor addition and the upgrade of our acrobatics area with a flipping machine. A few more upgrades are coming in soon! Stay tuned 🫣

What a pleasure it was today hosting the President of the Mexican Olympic Committee, Maria Jose Alcala and her delegation at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center. 🇲🇽

Mrs. Alcala competed as a diver at the 1988, 1992, 1996 and the 2000 Summer Olympics and in 2021, became the first female President of the Mexican Olympic Committee.

10 Weeks. 200+ Rising Stars. One incredible summer! ☀️

That’s a wrap on our Rising Stars Dive Camp! 🎉

Since the beginning of June, more than 200 young athletes have joined us across 10 weeks of diving, learning, laughing, and making memories on the boards. Watching these athletes grow in confidence, try new skills, and discover their love for diving has made this summer incredibly special.

A huge THANK YOU to the coaches who helped make every week possible: Nate, Chloe, Isaac, Charlie, Dante, and Isaac #2! ❤️ You brought energy, encouragement, and plenty of fun to the pool and helped make Rising Stars a summer to remember.

To every athlete and family who joined us: thank you for being part of the Rising Stars family. 🌟
