Week One of the Crown City Open is here!! 🎉 If you’re new here….this is a fun three week community event that we hold each year. For the next three Fridays, things will look a bit different (Feb 27th, March 6th, March 13th) If you are still wondering what all this excitement is about, our best advice is this: Come to our Friday Night Lights between 4pm and 8pm on the dates listed above and experience the hype for yourself! Whether you come to participate in the WOD or come to cheer on your friends, be ready for a fun evening with the Crown fam!You won’t regret it! Fun, friends, food, and fitness all rolled into one!

👑🚨New Crown City Fitness Coach!

Name: Sterling Brown

Sterling has been a CrossFit and Gymnastics Coach since 2011. He has a very strong gymnastics background, and it’s no surprise that his favorite CrossFit move is the ring muscle up. His favorite lift on the other hand is the Strongman log clean and press— we hope to see that in action one day. Sterlings favorite thing about coaching “is witnessing the athletes’ suffering... I mean, watching someone finally get a movement they’ve been struggling with for months or even years”. Sterling brings humor and levity to his classes, but also has a keen eye for detail and years of coaching experience and unique cues.

Outside of the gym Sterling is an illustrator, and full time warden to his two adorable children.

Sterling is holding down the Crown Casa on Wednesday evenings at 4,5,6 and 7PM. Welcome to the team Sterling! We’re grateful to have you aboard!
