Should a great Pilates teacher eventually teach you to need them less?
I believe so.
Some of my clients have worked with me for more than 20 years—and throughout those relationships, I’ve encouraged them to practice on their own, take classes when they travel, learn from other excellent teachers, and come back with new observations and better questions.
I’ve never believed our value as teachers comes from making people dependent upon us.
Quite the opposite.
How do we help clients become more confident and independent in their own bodies—while building relationships that can last for decades?
