I caught a new species of fish yesterday that I've been wanting. Peacock bass can only be found in this area of Miami-Dade county and a few other spots in the US. They also swim in the Amazon. He was caught on a live shinner at the spillway headed into Key Largo. I probably could have gotten another Florida citation for this fish but didn't have anything to weigh or measure him with.

Last week- unbelievable the bite is still so crazy right now. The dolphin have pushed them north of Key Bridge. My dad said he's never seen anything like this especially so far north. The Key Bridge not the Bay Bridge is on 🔥 this year
