That's a wrap in Oklahoma! When this 8 point walked out this morning I was going to let him pass on, but when I saw the little kicker behind his brow making him a 9, I thought he was enough to get the smoke. Still here for a couple days with friends, waiting to see who can find the brute we know is here. Still humbled by this life I get to live. Always be thankful!

First time hunting Texas out of all the times I have been down here. It's treated me so good and i got some amazing memories ontop of a beautiful deer to bring home. Still thankful and blessed for the opportunities that I am presented with.

17 days. 17 days straight of searching for 3 specific bucks in one of the most interesting places I have hunted. This afternoon I found one of the 3 chasing does in a perfect valley for a stalk. An hour later I was 45 yards above them and the rest is history. Seasons aren't done, there is more for me to chase, but first, I have a buddy with an incredible draw tag I need to help. More on the way!

After a long unsuccessful antelope archery season I punched elk tag 1 of 2 this year. We had an incredibly eventful day with some of the most rut action I have seen in years. However, the bulls stayed moving too hard and never got an opportunity, but this mature cow presented me with a 30 yard opportunity I couldn't pass up.

Blessed and thankful the freezer is now healthily stocked, and I still have time to chase down a bull!

During the I had the wonderful opportunity to help a couple skills shooters with stages throughout the match. Skills division is a great place for inexperienced shooters, or those new to the format, to get a feel for the style and also get tips and tricks from people like me during the match. Blessed to have the opportunity to help others out!!!

Spring 2023, the spring of the dead heads.

Parts of the Northwest got hammered with an incredibly harsh winter and some of those spots are seeing a ton of game that suffered from it and there is a lot of people finding dead heads along with sheds. I hate to see this, but I can take a find like this and turn it into something beautiful. Also, this winter created one of the most green and lush springs I have ever seen and made this hike incredibly beautiful. Hopefully it's all enough to help everything bounce back after the winter.

Well, it's been a while my friends, but we are finally coming around to the big deal. The name here will mean something. Keep an eye out and get ready because things will be happening here in the next few weeks after almost a year of silence. Stoked for the next step!
