I played in the Florida GC Regional this weekend. I won my block and got to the finals. Unfortunately I didn’t have my best game and ended up losing. Still had a great time!

I did an artist painting competition this evening at the club. Wanda Jackson has an art studio in Parkville and there’s been a different setting every day. 12 different artists painting tonight and this is the one that I chose for the winner! It was hard to choose with all the different paintings. Tammy was the artist.

I am in the hospital getting a full replacement of my left knee. Surgery went great and I’m doing good with the pt. I’m already doing laps around the floor But the one problem I have is I am still having a lot of blood drainage. Enough that I’m not getting out until tomorrow. I want to go home today!

Had the surgery on my left elbow Monday. They took care of bone spurs and loose impediments. 4 small incisions. Movement is good once the nerve block wore off. Thanks to everyone for your support! 2-3 weeks and I’ll be back playing croquet! Dr Lingenfelter is the best! I can’t wait to get back to Florida and away from the cold!

GC Club Teams was last weekend. Sarasota County Croquet Club won the tournament. My partner Billy Ray and I were second in the Championship flight.
