• SURGE' INCOMING: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has directed the Florida Highway Patrol to send a “surge” of more than 60 state troopers to patrol Miami Beach following a violent weekend that saw two people shot dead on South Beach, authorities say.

• MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Police have arrested a man in connection to one of two deadly St. Patrick’s Day weekend shootings on Ocean Drive that triggered chaos in the spring break destination and prompted city officials to impose a curfew.

• MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) - A man who was left paralyzed after a shooting at a South Florida restaurant has filed a lawsuit.
