Bunny’s energy under the lights at Dunmovin' Dressage Days at the Devon show grounds was incredible! He won the I-2 class and was an absolute blast to ride. I love that we are still having fun as a team after all these years.

🌴 WINTER IN FLORIDA — GROOM / WORKING STUDENT OPPORTUNITY 🌴

Emily Donaldson Dressage is looking for a groom or working student to join us for the 2027 Florida season at Persaud Legacy Farm in Reddick, Florida, from the end of December through March.

This position can be somewhat customized for the right individual and could be a great fit for either an experienced groom or someone interested in combining horse care with an opportunity to further their riding and training.

Position details:

• Approximately 6 days per week
• Helping with the daily care and management of 13–15 dressage horses
• Opportunity to bring your own horse, if desired
• Potential for housing to be provided
• Riding/training opportunities may be available depending on experience and interests
• Compensation and specifics can be tailored to the individual and scope of the position
• We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, organized, and experienced handling quality horses, with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

Walt Disney J2L (Vitalis x Belissimo M) owned by is learning about show life. He competed in Sussex last weekend at the Windy Hollow Hunt show and Licking Creek yesterday. He’s earned a 76.8 in the 4yo test and over the two shows a 72.8%, 71.2% and 70.6% at Training 3 along with Training Level high score at Licking Creek. The quality of this horse is top!

The Sewickley Farm Partnership’s Supersonic taking home Fourth Level High score at the Windy Hollow Hunt show last weekend. He earned a 72.3% and 69.8% at Fourth Level 3 and a 73.6% in his Third Level MFS.

This is well said and an important aspect of working with horses that unfortunately a lot of people don’t understand or aren’t emotionally mature enough to accept. Deciding to allow a horse to go in a different direction is hard because it means putting them first and your own goals, ego or ambitions second.

One of the absolute best feelings in the world is hearing your national anthem while representing your country in competition. That experience is unlike any other and one I hope I will continue to experience for years to come.

Extremely grateful to be a member of team Stübben NA! A heartfelt thank you to the wicked smart, humble and generous Xander Boere for spending the afternoon conducting bit fittings and providing my contacts with an informative seminar about bits and proper biting. I know I’m a geek about horses, and my passion for knowledge isn’t the norm, but I wish every horse person could listen to Xander speak about how bits function and the impact they have on horses. Thank you Xander and Stübben for a great day of learning.

Herzbeben, owned by Lynn Eastburn, has been gaining strength and confidence in the FEI ring at PSG this year. We’ve also had some successful outings competing in the Developing PSG qualifiers earning a 67.5% and 66.5%. Each time we go out it’s a little better which for an eight year old horse is pretty cool!
