🏊 Annual Pool Maintenance Notice 🏊

To help keep our pool clean, safe, and in top condition, the YMCA of Parkersburg's indoor pool will be closed for our annual maintenance shutdown from August 24th–31st.

During this time, the pool will be drained for routine cleaning, maintenance, and inspections. This annual process helps ensure we continue providing a high-quality aquatic experience for our members and program participants.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important work. The pool is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, September 1st.

PKB Summer Swim League is a wrap!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all the volunteers who made this season possible. Parents from every team stepped up today and helped run the City Championships, and some who didn't even have kids swimming this season. We may be different teams but when it comes to our swim kids in the MOV, we all do our part and that is just amazing to see. Until next summer!

The Y will be closed tomorrow out of an abundance of caution since a State of Emergency has been declared in Wood County. There will be no morning or evening swim practices Monday July 6. We will update as quickly as we can as information is gathered.

🚨 YMCA Facility Closure Notice 🚨

Out of an abundance of caution due to ongoing air quality concerns resulting from the warehouse fire in Parkersburg, the YMCA of Parkersburg will be closed on Monday, July 6th.

The health and safety of our members, participants, and staff is our highest priority. This decision has been made to help ensure everyone remains safe while local officials continue to monitor air quality conditions.

Members with Y-24 access will continue to have access to the fitness center throughout the closure.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates regarding Tuesday's operations as more information becomes available.

The Summer League Meet at Parkersburg Country Club has updated the start times of warm-ups and the meet by 45 minutes. The new start time is 9:30 AM. This will allow us to make a better decision about the potential weather early in the morning. Sharks will now warm up at 8:45 AM. Any new updates will be shared here and via SportsEngine.
