Thank You from the Parkersburg Astros Baseball Team
After two incredible seasons together and a couple months of thinking it over, we have decided the time has come for the Parkersburg Astros to hang up our cleats and close this chapter — While this chapter is closing, the memories we've made will last a lifetime.
Nothing negative has brought us to this decision — we still love and appreciate everyone who has been part of this team. We fully support each and every player and family as they move forward and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll do next.
We’re beyond grateful for every player who wore the Astros jersey with heart, every parent who cheered from the sidelines, and every coach and volunteer who gave their time and energy to help these kids grow — not just as ballplayers, but as teammates and young leaders.
To every kid who stepped up to the plate, gave their all, and had fun doing it — thank you. You were the heartbeat of this team, and we couldn't be prouder of what we accomplished together.
Though we may no longer share the same dugout, we’ll always be part of the Astros family. Here's to the next innings in life — keep swinging, keep dreaming, and never forget the power of team.
