IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of MOVExercise as of today, January 31, 2022.
Community classes will still be held in the same location at The Amputee Center, https://www.facebook.com/theamputeecenter, so check there for a revised schedule of events.
There are many reasons that have lead us to this decision. From Covid shutdowns, losing instructors, constantly competing with FREE classes, to dealing with family illness...the time has come to shut the doors.
In our almost 11 years, we saw thousands of people come through the doors and we're grateful for that.
We saw people become healthier and stronger. We are grateful for that.
We made lasting friendships for which we are also thankful.
We made enemies also, but I guess that's the way it goes when running a competitive business.
On a personal level, I'm thankful for the entire experience....all of it....the good and the bad. I learned a lot about others, and myself. I'm grateful for all the knowledge acquired through keeping current on important certifications, instructing many different formats, creating my own format and qualifying as an Education Specialist, training other instructors.
I plan to continue as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Counselor. If you're ready to make positive, life-long changes, reach out to me.
To my former instructors, thank you for making Brickhouse Cardio Club/Mid Ohio Valley Exercise one of the best group fitness studios in this area. I truly appreciate the work you put into teaching the classes and taking great care of our customers.
To my sister, Nichol Clay, thank you for your sacrifice and offering help when it was most needed. You're a fantastic instructor! I love you so much!
To my daughter, Tiffanee Denise Rice I'm proud of our success together and love the memories we made during this venture. I love you!
To my husband and love of my life, Darrell Holbrook. You've sacrificed more than any other to make sure the business succeeded and stayed open as long as it did. I'm eternally grateful for your support and dedication. I love you!
To our incredible customers: I considered every single one as a friend who came to visit. Some stayed. Some didn't. I'm grateful for you all.
To the customers who became good friends (you know who you are): You have enriched my life forever and for that, I'm grateful and humbled.
Thank you,
Toni Holbrook
