Heart & Veil Belly Dance Troupe

Last evening’s class was the final rehearsal before the first spooky event of the season for H&V! Tonight we performed at Spellbound N Sweet Trunk or Treat (albeit without some of our regulars 😢). Deborah and I also danced “Thriller” with MOV Thrill Seekers for the first time!
We saw so many cute kids in costumes visit our decorated trunk, and it was wonderful to be supported by our very own Fitness With Phyllis and friends. And a huge congratulations to Heather for winning the Best Makeup award! 🥇
A big THANK YOU to Karen Meeks for the generous donation of candy.
What an exciting time! Our next performances will be at the Amputee Center on October 13 and Downtown PKB’s Monster Mash on October 16.

There will not be belly dance class Friday, Sept 11. Join us next week as we continue preparations for Halloween events. There is still time to learn our dance and get your costume ready 👻🎃💀

Belly Dance class is every Friday at 6:30 at Fitness With Phyllis in Belpre. Cost is only $5 if you’re a gym member, and $10 if not. Bring a drink and a hip scarf if you have one. If not, we have a treasure chest of hip scarves to choose from.

Belly dance class was great fun tonight with Deborah, Roxanne (we have missed you!) and to have Amanda Hutchinson join us. Dancing always makes for a happy place. Thank you for coming!

Belly dancing is cancelled for Friday, May 29. Josie, our instructor, will be unavailable for the next three weeks due to family obligations and summer travel ✈️. Deborah, H&V co-leader, will lead class as her schedule permits.
Registration for Shimmy Mob's EASA event will be available soon. Please monitor Team Parkersburg's page for information. We would be delighted to have you join us.
In the mean time, keep practicing your shimmies!
