We talk a lot about loving ourselves in our classes-loving through discomfort, through expectations of ourselves and others, and not needing to match our yoga practice or our ideas with our neighbor(s).
We work concepts of forgiveness and grace into our thoughts, breath and movement when we practice together…but every single student in these photos deserves extra props for this weekend, for all of the grace they offered back to me and our extra weird events that unfolded. 😅
Changed locations, missing emails, getting locked out, being late…nothing stopped these folks from getting to class, speaking from their hearts, listening to their bodies, and being there for themselves and each other.
You’re literally all the MVPs. Every single one of you.
Friday’s Metal Slow-ga ended up being dreamy and exactly what we needed to let it all go. Sunday’s Yoga & Incense Making was so fun (it looks like we made lil poops, but I swear they smell so good and magical 🤣). It ended up being a wonderful weekend, we dodged the rain and had a great time with each other.
Welcome to the new folks and hugs and high fives to the resident weirdos. Can’t wait to see y’all again!
This coming Sunday, join us for DONATION-BASED CEMETERY YOGA for International Yoga Day. Oak Grove Cemetery at noon (Marietta). Sign up in advance to get our official class location, or come to the place we always do Cemetery Yoga if you’ve done it with us, before.
Bring a friend, and pay what you can 🖤
