The Parkersburg South Boys Basketball 9th and 10th graders competed in the Junior Varsity division of the Marietta College Shootout on Saturday, June 16, 2026. The Patriots went 5-0 in pool play and 3-0 in the overtime tournament to capture the Shootout Championship.

Parkersburg South Boys Basketball team members are selling raffle tickets that will draw 3 prizes. First drawn ticket will pick from one of three prizes: 1) $250 cash; 2) a quilt donated by the Wingrove Family; 3) a quilt donated by Penny Eddy honoring the 2025-2026 Parkersburg South Boys Basketball team. The second drawn ticket will pick one of the remaining two prizes and the third drawn ticket gets the remaining prize.

Tickets are $5, available from any Parkersburg South Boys Basketball player or contact Bill Camp at 304-483-8922 to request your ticket. The drawing is planned for Monday, June 15 at 6:00PM.

Lady Patriots had a great time and a successful team camp at Cedarville University this week ! Jv went 4-1! Varsity went 3-3 (and finished 4-2 - 3rd place overall out of 27 teams in the OT tournament). Played some of the best teams in Ohio along with a couple of good teams from Kentucky!! Good to be back in the gym with such a great bunch of young ladies beginning our journey !
