Hayden J Drives In 4 To Lead Southside Freedom 12U Past Sabers

Hayden J drove in four runs on one hit to lead Southside Freedom 12U past Sabers 20-3 on Saturday at Valley Park. Hayden hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and hit a sacrifice fly in the second inning, scoring one.
Southside Freedom 12U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Paxton D drew a walk, scoring one run, and Hunter T grounded out, scoring one run.
Sabers tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a single by Evan V, and a double by Kipp H.
Southside Freedom 12U jumped back into the lead in the top of the second inning after Cam W doubled down the left field line, Corben G singled down the right field line, Hayden hit a sacrifice fly, and Paxton walked, each scoring one run.
Southside Freedom 12U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Case K doubled down the left field line, Cam doubled down the right field line, and Ryder B grounded out, each scoring one run.
Southside Freedom 12U scored 10 runs on nine hits in the top of the fourth inning. Easton A singled, scoring one run, Hunter tripled, scoring one run, Brody B singled, scoring one run, Case singled, scoring one run, Abel P doubled, scoring two runs, Hayden homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Hunter doubled, scoring one run.
Abel earned the win for Southside Freedom 12U. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking none. Hunter B took the loss for Sabers. The pitcher went three and one-third innings, giving up 19 runs (11 earned) on 15 hits, striking out none and walking four.
Southside Freedom 12U piled up 17 hits in the game. Abel set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Southside Freedom 12U with four hits in four at bats. Cam, Easton, Hunter, Corben, and Case each collected multiple hits for Southside Freedom 12U. Abel, Brody, Paxton, and Hayden each stole multiple bases for Southside Freedom 12U. Southside Freedom 12U stole 10 bases in the game.
Kipp led Sabers with two runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-2 on the day. Blake led Sabers with two hits in two at bats.
