Race update : 7/18/26
Unloaded with a setup in mind from our last race out with the temperature being similar! Tried and found the truck didn’t like it much.
We fought the truck through the first two practices and driver decided he didn’t know what he wanted, moral change, the team decided today was the day that we could finally give one of our great friends and part of the family a chance to get in a pro truck for the third practice!
Ian Clark got in his very first pro truck practice and did incredible had some quick laps and handled the truck great! Thank you to Ian brought us back to why we race in the first place to have a good time enjoying the sport we love! We don’t make a living out here but we love our local track Saturday night racing! And that’s what Ian showed not only the driver but the team!
Qualified p8 with a decent time, that put us starting 8th in the first of two features! We would end up staying in 8th and decided it was best to save the tires for the second main!
We did a “pill” draw with a deck of cards, we pulled the Ace staring us p1 in the second main! The team rallied and tried to give us the best machine to work with.
Second main we rolled off p1 and we held the lead for 5 laps and the truck was just loose, we fought as hard as we could and as the top 4 guys passed us clean and quick we settled in to 5th where for the remaining 20 laps we stayed and secured a p5! This truck and team are close, we won’t give up and keep pushing hard forward!
Special thanks to our sponsors Dissco, Coate transportation, Dreyer Transportation, and Drey/Coate farms!
