This weekend challenged our 14 Club, finishing 1–2, but the growth stood out.

The girls learned how to fight through tough moments, elevate their Volleyball IQ, and understand the importance of being ready at all times, especially when a teammate goes down.

These lessons matter. The work continues.

Parker Volleyball Club extends our deepest condolences and love to our 16s star player, Saralyn Deleon, and her family.

Emily was an integral part of Saralyn’s success in our program. She was one of our greatest supporters, and we cherished having her and her family as part of our club community. Emily made sure Saralyn was at every practice, every tournament, and every camp. Her dedication, love, and commitment played a tremendous role in Saralyn’s development as a volleyball player and young woman.

Our hearts go out to the Deleon and Panuco families during this incredibly difficult time. Please consider supporting the family in any way you can.

Rest easy, Emily. You were truly a light, and your impact will never be forgotten. We love you Saralyn!

They competed on February 7th and finished 2–1, continuing their solid run.

What. A. Weekend. 🏐

If you’ve ever been to Arizona Athletic Grounds, you know the energy; over 50 volleyball courts going at once. Loud. Fast. High intensity.

FOCUS was the mission.

In a highly stimulating environment, these girls learned how to lock in. It took a moment to adjust, but once they did, they persevered and competed hard.

Club 14J- Results: 1–2

• Game 1: Adjustment mode
• Game 2: Locked in on serving → WIN ✅
• Game 3: A neck‑and‑neck battle. The opposing team brought stronger serves, and that experience was invaluable.

This was a real‑time lesson in why we always say:

“Volleyball is a game of serving and passing.”

Our athletes didn’t just hear the philosophy; they lived it. Front‑row seats. Starring role.

At the end of the day, it’s all about growth and BIG growth happened this weekend.

And if you look at their faces (📸👇), you can tell they loved every minute of competing.

~ 14 Champ Weekend Recap ~

This tournament tested us. The girls pushed through injuries and sickness and gave everything they had, even while not at 100%. Still, they found a way to bring home a win against the best-ranked team in the division. Their resilience, heart, and determination were incredible to watch. So proud of this group and how they fought for each other. Great job, girls! Back to work at practice as we keep getting better. 💙🏐

🏐 Weekend Recap – 12U Travel Team 🏐

Our girls hit the court for their debut tournament, and WOW did they show up!

Coach Secilee shared how impressed she was with their performance, especially considering they’ve only had a couple weeks of practice together. The team came out strong, sweeping their first match, then battling through three sets in the second. Their final match at 8 PM was the real test; tired legs but excited hearts! Even though they fell to a very well-equipped team, they fought back from a 10‑point deficit and never quit.

She also noted how the girls are already bonding as a team, supporting one another, and enjoying interactions with other clubs. After a great team chat at Monday’s practice, the girls shared what they felt went well and the areas they want to grow in together. Coach Secilee is so proud of every single one of them!

Coach Tahnee echoed those thoughts, saying this weekend was a huge eye-opener mentally and competitively. She loved seeing the girls navigate tough moments while keeping composure and fighting until the very last whistle. They even received multiple compliments on their serves from other teams!

Now that they’ve experienced both winning and losing, Coach Tahnee can’t wait to see what fire they bring into the next tournament.

This team is learning. They’re building. They’re growing. And most importantly: they’re having FUN.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for these incredible athletes! 💙✨

14 Club team competed in their first tournament for USA volleyball - AZ Region. They finished the day 1-2!

Coach’s note: There were some standouts and some great rallies. Today served as an assessment for areas of improvement and development. They learned how to battle and compete. Congrats ladies! Way to play and represent Parker!
