Hi ARS Coed Kickball Team!!

Kickball. Who said it was just a kid’s game? Fall season begins this SUNDAY, August 1st @ 3:00pm! Oh yeah. Please bring identification to the first game. You are required to sign a Parker Rec Waiver. Important information below, so please make sure you read it ALL.

First off, WELCOME BACK MVP’s: Danielle, Cory, Wes, Sebastian, Jeremy, Lauren, Sandra, Chuck and Kim T… has anyone seen Teresa? 😉

Second, let’s give a huge SHOUT OUT to our NEWEST TEAMMATES: Jesse, Kristen, Josh, Morgan, Samantha, Celeste, Jordan, Kim K., Aimee, Kelly, Jenny & Brett! We are so excited to have you on our team!! We have newbies to torture. JK. We're a friendly bunch.

Are you on TeamSnap? If not, I’ll keep sending you reminders... And that's not fun. TeamSnap contains all our team info including; game times, important updates and/or schedule changes, plus you can chat with teammates, post pics, etc. Most importantly, you MUST indicate your availability for each game on TeamSnap. Otherwise, Saturday night and Sunday morning, you’ll be receiving multiple texts, maybe calls or knocks on your door, notes on your car, smoke signals…you get my point. It tells me that we will have enough players (men & women) for the game. Otherwise we have to forfeit and it costs me $40. doh!

Now, for some housekeeping items:

WHAT - It’s Co-ed Adult (18+) Kickball! Kickball is a fun and engaging sport for people of all athletic ability, a simple game consisting of two teams and a big red ball. Played like softball, the object is to score more runs than the opposing team. No experience needed. Our only mission - get out of your comfort zone and have a blast.

WHEN - Every Sunday (except Labor Day weekend) August 1st - October 3rd. Game schedule is below. Games start at 1pm, 2pm or 3pm and last about an hour or 7 innings, whichever comes first. Please arrive 30 minutes early for stretches and practice.

*** Optional: Sometimes we meet after games at the Tailgate for food & drinks, BBQ in the park, or hang out with our kiddos on the playground ***

WHERE - Games are played at O’Brien Ball Field (Parker Road & Mainstreet).

ATTIRE – Free team jerseys will be provided before the first game. Send me your T-Shirt size. I preordered shirts already. So first come, first served on size. I'll order additional shirts if needed. Please wear your team jersey to every game. You may also wear last season’s shirt. Same color scheme. Athletic shorts, yoga pants, sweats, etc., is recommended, along with cleats (no metal cleats) or sneakers. Soccer cleats are the best. Sorry ladies, no heels on this field. Sunscreen, layers, and water bottles are encouraged.

EQUIPMENT - None needed. I provide practice balls and a whip. 😝

ADDITIONALLY: Last season my company sponsored the team so no one paid any fees or purchased shirts. This season, I personally paid the team registration fee. So, requesting everyone pitch in $20. If we have additional funds leftover, I’ll purchase BBQ meats and adult beverages after our playoff games. Please bring cash to the first game. I also take Venmo or Cash App.

Hi ARS Coed Kickball Team!!

Are you excited for the season to start? We are only two weeks away 😊! Please read ALL the info below;

WHEN: Sunday games run April 25th to July 18th. Skip dates are May 30th & July 4th. Games are played Sundays between 1 and 8 p.m. They usually last about an hour. The season includes a regular season and ends with playoffs. Playoff formats are determined by the number of teams registered. Please plan on arriving ½ hour before each game to stretch and practice. Game schedule will be released one week before season begins (est. 4/19). I will update team sites and email schedule once it’s posted.

Optional: Sometimes we meet before or after games at the Tailgate for food & drinks.

WHERE: Games are played at O’Brien Ball Field (Parker Road & Mainstreet) and occasionally moved to Salisbury Field 4 (off Motsenbocker just north of Hess). Restrooms are onsite near pool.

WHO: Kickball leagues are played 11 v 11. Teams are coed and require a minimum of four women. We currently have 8 women on the roster. Ladies - It’s important that you communicate with me to let me know if you will not be at a game so we can make sure we have the minimum required to play.

ATTIRE: Team Shirts will be provided before first game. Please wear team shirt to every game, it’s mandatory for all of us to wear the same color. Athletic shorts, yoga pants, sweats, etc., is encouraged along with cleats (no metal cleats) or sneakers. Sunscreen and layers are encouraged.

TEAM NAME: We NEED a Team Name! ARS Kickers was a temporary name. Please submit team name suggestions to me by Tuesday 4/13. We will vote on our FB page and update the league by Thursday. **It must contain ‘ARS’ because it’s our company sponsored team.**

• TeamSnap – You should have already received an invite for TeamSnap. Be sure to fill out your profile. Every individual needs their own email address to create their profile. If you, or your significant other did not receive an invite, please send their email address to me. TeamSnap is where you’ll find valuable information, schedules, roster, attendance, stats, pictures and updates.
