I've been quiet again lately as I've been ill, but I'm getting better and hope to get back to running next week.

In the meantime I've been out for three really good walks in the past few days, trying to ease my way back into running. Five miles on Sunday (pics 1 - 5) and over six miles today in two sections (pics 6 - 10).

Hey everyone, apologies for the absolute radio silence from me over the past two weeks.

The reality of my amazing husband's passing really, really hit me and I've had a rough couple of weeks.

I'm lucky enough, though, to have the most amazing friends who very kindly took me away for the weekend this past weekend. They are absolutely awesome friends - thank you so, so much, guys.

Here's a photo I took this morning from the living room windows of the house we rented - a stunning view to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

I made it out for a short walk / run on the Saturday too.

Enjoyed a 1 mile walk followed by a 7.5 mile run earlier, under some grey skies. Also did some core work and stretching when I got home. That's a few more miles added to my RUN to Change Lives virtual challenge for January. There's still one day of the month left after today, so I'll post again tomorrow or Monday about my total for the month. I doubt I'll reach my target 🎯 for this month but hopefully won't be too far off it.
