Interested in riding rehab!? We have a great group of very talented riders here at RMER. Working each horse accordingly and productively each ride is very important. We work closely with your veterinarian to curate a riding regime that focuses on working each muscle group correctly. Concentrating on a controlled environment and productive rides leads to success.

We have one more story from this year’s MRC End of Summer show. The 5th place derby entry, Loreley, was a Rocky Mountain Equine Rehab success story! Loreley spent time at RMER on two separate occasions for a broken coffin bone and suspensory injury. Thanks to the great care she received, she has been able to make her way back into the show ring. Congratulations to owner Gwendolyn “Laci” Issacs and trainer Megan Downey on her success in this year’s $1500 Hunter Derby, wishing you continued success!

Yesterday’s MRC $1500 Added Hunter Derby sponsored by Rocky Mountain Equine Rehab featured mother daughter duo Andrea Van Meenen riding Christen Tuxworth’s Capistrano Z, and Wilhelmina riding Mary Caroline Logan’s Figaro V taking second and third, respectively. Rumor had it Wilhelmina may have been grounded if she beat her mom. Not yet Wilhelmina, not yet, but soon. 😉
