What extraordinary times we are living in...How are you and your family doing? Stress can come out sideways (as we all know) Take care of you! And if you need resources for developing new routines, helping your kiddo to work through these challenges or simply a place to vent, we are here.

While we are absolutely sensitive to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Camp of Champs continues to book up and look ahead on fun summer memories. Unless the Governor shuts down all types of summer camp programming, we will run camp. Please let us know if you have any questions on registration and let's remember....WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

Looking to impact the lives of youth in a fun, fast paced environment? The Camp of Champs is recruiting its nursing staff team for summer 2020! We are looking for compassionate, professional, and flexible nurses to join our team. Details:
-Medication management
-Documentation through online portal
-Basic first aid administration

The campers who attend are generally higher functioning youth with special needs age 9-17. Needs vary but often include: ADHD, LD, campers on the Autisum Spectrum, and mental health challenges including Anxiety/Depression among others.

Requirements:
-Board approved RN or LPN
-CNA welcome to apply to assist. Weekly stipend will be commensurate to level of education and experience.

Specific Dates:
June 7-12, 2020
June 14-19, 2020
August 23-26, 2020

***We are also considering hiring a nurse for 8 Sunday shifts during the summer months to assist at our smaller camp check-in times. These shifts would be paid hourly DOQ of $20-$30/hour.

***Space is limited to 2-3 nurses. There are generally high demand for these positions and we hope to fill them by early to mid Spring. Please reach out soon if you are interested!

Another season in the books! Sorry it’s been so long since our last post on the public page. Over 250 campers enjoyed a fun and safe camp experience while learning important social skills. Thanks for your support and keep spreading the word on the Camp of Champs! !
