Just sorting out beavers that came back from the tannery last week. Most of what I have can be found on my website…but may have some more quantity of beaver if needed.

I will be at the Minnesota Convention in Wadena August 5th and 6th, and doing an otter trapping demo at Noon on August 6th.

If anyone needs and pans or fresh frozen beaver oil sacs, let me know and we can arrange a time to get them, as I do not plan on tailgating at this point.

Hope to see some old and new face there!

Good article on the current fur market.

Pretty sad that beavers are worth the same today, as in the 1800’s!!!

Returns for furs aren’t what they used to be, and fewer trappers are in the backcountry. But despite that, columnist John Schandelmeier says it’s “not an archaic enterprise headed for the scrap heap.”
