This past week, collegiate members and FSCPC coaches, Brynn and Taylia participated in the Sun Valley LIVE ProSkaters Open Competition, Auditions, and Performance Workshop, held July 19-21 at the Sun Valley Skating Center in Sun Valley, Idaho! ⛸️ They performed for show casting directors and producers and worked with current and former show skaters. What an incredible opportunity!

In the ProSkaters LIVE competition, Brynn was named the Grand Champion overall and was also awarded the first ever Richard Dwyer Performance Award. This award recognizes outstanding excellence in show skating performance and honors the legacy of Richard Dwyer and his lifelong contribution to professional skating.

The ProSkaters organization is dedicated to providing education, industry connections, & inspiration to help skaters elevate their performance skills, expand their opportunities, & build sustainable careers as professional skaters. We are excited to see these skaters take advantage of this incredible opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and be inspired within the professional skating community! ⛸️

Tickets are now available for the 46th JANS Winter Welcome scheduled for Saturday, October 24th. This event fuels youth sport in Utah.

Each year, this event brings together 400 members of our community, industry partners, and supporters from across the country to raise critical funding for YSA’s afterschool programs and seven partner winter sport teams. Last year alone, partner teams raised $208,912 through auction items and opportunity drawing tickets, while more than $251,600 was raised for need-based scholarships for young athletes. The evening includes dinner, silent and live auctions, the paddle raise, and an opportunity drawing.

Table sponsorships and individual tickets are available online — purchase early as this event sells out every year!

This year’s Intermountain Health Opportunity Drawing will send one winner and a guest to the 2027 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, including three days of racing, MSC Yacht Club access, food and beverage, priority parking, and a $2,000 travel credit. Tickets are a suggested $50 donation, and the winner will be drawn on Saturday, October 24, 2026. You do not need to be present to win.
