Psicocomp The Psicobloc Masters Series is a Psicobloc or Deep Water Soloing competitions that are Park City, UT Hope to see you there!

The inaugural Psicobloc Masters was organized by Finuco Martinez, and held over a tidal river in the center of Bilbao, Spain. In August of 2013, the Psicobloc team brought the competition the Utah Olympic Park's 750,000-gallon freestyle aerial training pool and held the first deep water soloing competition in the US. Many of the best climbers in the world competed and took big falls off of the 50

foot Walltopia-designed wall. This year's competition promises to be even better, with an all-star line up and some of the kinks worked out from last year. The climbers will again compete head-to-head on the wall which features a 26-foot roof, and tests the skills, speed and cool headedness of the climbers on 5.14 level routes with 50 feet of air below. The comp will again feature a men's and women's division and there will be a qualifier where 4 men and women have a chance to advance to the finals. The Qualifier will be held at Momentum Climbing Gym's new Millcreek location on August 6. There will be a practice round on August 7 at the pool that will determine the seeding of the paired climbers, and the Finals will be the evening of August 8.
