Tonight BEXC celebrated an awesome season! Thanks to all who made this night so perfect for the team, especially our seniors!

2021 season accomplishments:
Boys: 5th at region/ qualified for state
Girls: 2nd at region/ 8th at state
Savannah Mooney 8th at state/ All-State team
Most Improved award-Gage Thorpe & Haley Butler
Leadership award-Tyler Bass & Mia Maguire
Most Outstanding Runners- Tyler Bass/Isaiah Malone, Savannah Mooney

BEXC’s season came to a close with a muddy, but awesome day at state! Special congrats to Savannah Mooney for her top 10 finish and to the girls’ team for placing eighth in the state!!!

Awesome performance at regionals for BEXC! Both teams qualified for state next weekend and the girls were runners up in the region!!! Special congrats to Tyler Bass, Isaiah Malone, Savannah Mooney, and Alex Egan for earning medals with their top 8 finishes, as well as to the many runners who earned PR’s today, were close to PR’s, and/or had season bests! Great job today, East!!! 🏃‍♂️🏅🏃🏼‍♀️

What a great day at the Hopewell Invitational for BEXC! Special congrats to eighth grader Savannah Mooney for placing FIRST in the girls’ varsity race with a PR and to the girls’ team for placing third overall with several PR’s and top 25 finishes! The boys also ran well with some PR’s and great times for this tough course!
