Race Report 🏁

This past weekend we hauled up to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO for the Show Me 100!!
USRA Stock Cars were the only support class so, Stock Cars & Late Models, you don’t get a better combo!

🏎️Night 1- Friday night we just got to chill and watch some really good late model racing.

⛈️Night 2- Saturday.. the weather got us after trying to wait it out.. most of the afternoon was just some sprinkles, but the bottom fell out for a solid 30 minutes and finished us off for the day.

🏁Night 3 - Sunday, we finally got to race! We drew a 118 so we started on the back of heat 2. The car looked good but needed a little adjustment. We rushed to get it set up for the feature. It was quick, fast and in a hurry once we got rolling and it took every one of us working on it! But we made it, the track pulled moisture back up after it seemed to be drying off. So the set up wasn’t perfect but we still held on and turned some really good laps. Overall it was a fun trip and we can’t wait to get back up to Lucas.

Side note James got to meet a couple Late Model drivers, shout out to RTJ and Dan Ebert for signing the boys’ cars and being an awesome highlight for his trip!

If anybody sees the #13 or #58 stock cars or some familiar faces in any media from Lucas this week please be sure to tag Bethany Winters, John Michael Winters or Winters Racing , please! There were so many media teams and photographers there!!

Close and clear pits 3:30pm
Spectator Gates open at 4:00
Racing at 5:30

Go Kart Racing at Noon at the go kart track. Promoters race & Powder Puff and Pit Crew races. $25 entry - Top 2 get prize money
