What a fun wknd to end the year and who knows maybe an era (we shall see come next spring). My dad started Tuff e Nuff with a group of girls and then once he had grandson’s transitioned over to baseball and continued to call those boys girls as well.
Year after year he said you play to get better you don’t play to chase a ring. You play because you love the game. You play because you’re a family.
When you see these pictures you see boys who love to be on that field, you see parents and siblings who are ball family, you see young men who have learned so much more than just the game but patience, respect, manners, what it means to be teammate, how to overcome, how to handle wins and loses, and so so much more.
You also see a coach that still leans on my dad even though he isn’t physically here every step of the game. Coaches that love these boys with all they have. And coaches that are teaching these boys on every play, lifting them up, yelling at them but loving on them, and teaching them sportsmanship like no other.
Garath Rosson stepped up and continued a legacy with the Tuff e Nuff organization that has helped raise some amazing women and men throughout the years and will continue in the years to come and for that I am grateful. ❤️ ⚾️

What a great start to the season. We faced some great baseball this weekend and the boys had a lot of fight. Again Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and grandmas that show up and support. Also we missed our music mom Stephenie Hammett this weekend. Nobody wants your job Steph so we need yall to hurry back! 😂

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 Earn Walk-Off Win Over Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 10-9 walk-off victory over Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the fifth when Braysen Snell tripled, scoring one run.

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 rallied for the victory despite trailing 8-4 in the fourth.

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Snell walked, Rayder Waldroup tripled, and Huxley Allen grounded out, each scoring one run.

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 added one run in the second. Jaxson Trujillo balked, making the score 4-1.

Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U captured the lead, 5-4, in the top of the third after Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 committed an error, Ethan singled, Brody walked, and Brennan walked, each scoring one run.

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on four hits to take a 9-8 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Zack Dickson that drove in two.

Jax singled, which helped Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U tie the game at nine in the top of the fifth.

Kain Rosson stepped on the mound first for Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024. The lefty allowed one hit and five runs (two earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking four. Trujillo stepped on the hill first for Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U. They gave up three hits and six runs (five earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking four. Colton King and Waldroup each appeared in relief for Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024.

Dickson seized on their opportunities, leading Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Waldroup and Lucas Torres each collected two hits for Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024. Snell stole two bases.

Trujillo provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U with three runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Ethan, Trujillo, and Jax each collected one hit for Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U. John Hollis led Victus Elite - Louisiana 14U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game.

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 Cling To Victory As Victus Elite Reaves 14U Nearly Erase 4-Run Deficit

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 built a 4-run lead in the third inning and then held off Victus Elite Reaves 14U's charge for an 8-7 victory on Saturday. Victus Elite Reaves 14U closed the gap by scoring on a dropped third strike and a double.

Victus Elite Reaves 14U opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two ground outs. Victus Elite Reaves 14U first got on the board when Tavin Clark grounded out, scoring one run.

Victus Elite Reaves 14U added two runs in the third after Ethan Smith grounded out.

Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring seven runs on two hits to take a 8-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Tyson Lewis that drove in three.

Rayder Waldroup stepped on the bump first for Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024. They gave up zero hits and two runs over two innings, striking out two and walking three. Kalijah Gilbert started on the bump for Victus Elite Reaves 14U. The righty gave up one hit and four runs over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking six. Kain Rosson pitched one inning of no-run ball for Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 in relief. The left-handed pitcher gave up one hit, striking out one and walking none.

Colton King drove the middle of the lineup, leading Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 with two runs batted in. The right fielder went 1-for-1 on the day. King, Lewis, and Braysen Snell each collected one hit for Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024. Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 had patience at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Lane Cashion and Rosson led the team with two walks each. Cashion and Lucas Torres each stole multiple bases for Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024. Tuff-E-Nuff 14U 2024 turned one double play in the game.

Smith provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Victus Elite Reaves 14U with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Easton Biggs, Smith, Peyton Odom, and Cooper Rawlings each collected one hit for Victus Elite Reaves 14U. Victus Elite Reaves 14U turned one double play in the game.

⚾️ It was a long day full of great baseball and a great way to end the fall season. We faced some great local teams all while playing close to home. Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our Tuff E Nuff team today and through out the season. We truly have the best fans and the best time! 🥈⚾️
