Over the years, I’ve served as an assistant instructor under my own teacher. In addition, I have a 1st-degree black belt in Taekwondo and spent some time studying Aikido and Kung Fu.

Knocking the rust off our bojutsu drills. And yes I did throw the bo. Not a mainstream technique for sure, but is still an option and could help you get away.

And that concludes our indoor season! Starting Monday, we will be training at Chandler Park. Same time, 6:30-8:30, M and W. Weapons will be the focus until fall. If you are at all curious, stop by and check us out. Just watch or have a chat even!

Wednesday night for the first half of class, we stepped outside of typical Bujinkan training for a bit to work on follow through with striking techniques. We generally don't do board breaking but this is one concept that it can help reinforce. And it's a little bit of fun as well!
