Help us build a welcoming children’s dance program.

Havana Dance Center is seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach one or more of the following: ballet/pre-ballet, creative movement, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. Applicants do not need to teach every style.

We’re looking for teachers who combine strong dance fundamentals with patience, creativity, and a genuine enjoyment of working with children.

Responsibilities
• Plan and teach structured, age-appropriate classes.
• Help students develop technique, musicality, coordination, and confidence.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom with clear expectations.
• Communicate professionally with parents and studio management.
• Contribute ideas for curriculum and future student performances.

Qualifications
• Experience teaching dance to children.
• Strong training in the styles you wish to teach.
• Reliable attendance, preparation, and communication.
• Ability to manage a group while keeping learning enjoyable.
• Willingness to provide professional references.

Instructors interested in helping develop a new program are especially encouraged to apply. Please mention any experience building classes or growing enrollment.

Compensation and Schedule
Competitive pay based on experience. Class assignments, location, and schedule will be discussed during the interview process and confirmed as enrollment develops.

How to Apply
Apply through Indeed with your résumé, teaching styles, age groups taught, and availability. A teaching video or portfolio is welcome but optional.
