We had a fabulous first show of our summer series Amaze Days last Sunday. A nice turnout with some fun new obstacles to challenge both horse and riders. Our awesome group of volunteers kept the show running smoothly. Thank you everyone who jumped in whenever we needed it! You still have time to sign up and be included in our series awards at our next show on July 12th.

Good Morning,
We have several upcoming events we want you to be aware of:
General/board meeting Wednesday June 10th 6pm Cozy Diner Restaurant in Paradise. Please join us as we need help with our Treasure Hunt & Amaze Day committees. We have a lot to discuss and plan this year.

First gymkhana and amaze day series begin on June 13th & 14th.

We have a member-only playday scheduled for June 27th at the arena, but we have the option to have a campout at Doon Grade Ranch that weekend as well. We need member input on what you would rather do. We can have dinner on Friday night at Lovelock Inn and a BBQ potluck Saturday night at Doon Grade together. Doon Grade has several campsites with panels, water and electricity. Please respond and let us know if you would prefer a campout or a playday on June 27th.

Treasure Hunt Ride is planned for August 1-2nd at Meadowbrook Ranch and we are taking early entries and will be capping this event at 75 riders so be sure to get your entries in before July 26th. We will offer an early entry drawing for those entries received before July 26th.
The only way to reserve your spot this year is to PRE-PAY either by venmo or send a check via mail with your entry form. We have had issues with capping this event and not taking any more entries and then having riders not show up. To prevent this, we are requesting payment with your entries. If you choose to sign-up early without paying, we will access a $10 late fee the day of the event to hold your spot.

A fantastic time up at Doon Grade Ranch today at the Gimmick Ride! A great turnout of riders who were treated to absolutely beautiful perfect weather and a ride that was well organized and lunch too! Thank you to Dr. Sue for many months of planning and Dr. Dalia Mathan for opening up her Ranch to us all!

Few event committee meetings coming up:
Gymkhana meeting May 27th, Wednesday 5pm at Mountain Mike’s Pizza. If you are a gymkhana rider and are interested in our program, want to get more involved or have suggestions, please attend this meeting.
Amaze Day committee meeting June 1st Monday 3pm at the arena. We need help with Amaze Days this year in order to keep this event going. Please consider attending and share your ideas for awards, obstacles and planning for our summer series.
