Tax Time Tips:

You can use the free IRS Direct File program (irs.gov/filing/irs-direct-file-for-free) to prepare and file your federal taxes online. Direct File is similar to commercial tax software that lets you automatically import your tax information directly from the IRS by filling in your W-2 wages and other information. However, it’s only available if you lived and worked in the 25 participating states.

The IRS has launched Where's My Refund? at irs.gov/wheres-my-refund, an online tool to check the status of your refund. You can check the status of your income tax refund within 24 hours of e-filing and generally within four weeks of filing a paper return.

IRS Free File Guided Tax Software is another program that lets qualified taxpayers prepare and file federal income tax returns online using guided tax preparation software. Online Guided Tax Software is available to taxpayers with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $84,000 or less in 2024. The Guided Tax Software is also available in Spanish.

These are my favorite shoes. I had a pair I wore during some incredible goal breaking challenges. I literally wore out my old pair and they were hurting my feet. I have been putting off spending $120 for a new pair for many months.

This week…I visited my favorite thrift stores and guess what?! Found a like new pair for $20!!!! $20!!!! Same brand - style and my size!!!!!!

I waited and God blessed my patience and thriftiness.
