Here is some more karate showing up in action.
In this clip, we get to see two classic karate concepts: the axe kick and the X-block.
The axe kick attacks from an unusual line, coming over the top and forcing a reaction. It can break posture, split the guard, or change the rhythm of the exchange.
The X-block is another great example. In traditional training, it is often shown in a formal shape, but the real value is the principle: using both arms together to intercept, jam, catch, or shut down an incoming attack.
At Rule of 3, this is what we love about martial arts. When you understand the principle behind the movement, you start seeing karate show up everywhere.
The shape may change under pressure, but the idea is still there.
