Next up, we are excited to welcome back Coach India!
Entering her 14th season of coaching volleyball, Coach India brings a passion for athlete development and a wealth of experience to Emerald Coast Volleyball Club. A graduate of Southside High School in Arkansas, she continued her volleyball career through the collegiate level as an Outside Hitter while attending Central Baptist College.
Coach India began her coaching journey in 2013 during her freshman year of college with Conway Juniors. What started as an opportunity to stay connected to the game quickly grew into a lifelong passion for developing athletes both on and off the court.
Throughout her coaching career, Coach India has worked with athletes at every stage of development, from grassroots beginners to collegiate players. Her coaching experience includes Conway Juniors, Central Baptist College, and nine successful seasons with Emerald Coast Volleyball Club.
Over the years, Coach India has helped develop numerous athletes who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, many of whom she began coaching when they were just 11 to 13 years old. Her coaching accomplishments include multiple Gold and Silver Division finishes throughout her time at ECVC, as well as being a member of the coaching staff that helped lead Choctawhatchee High School to the 2017 State Championship alongside Coaches Meaghan and Scott Allen.
Committed to continual growth as a coach, Coach India holds IMPACT and SafeSport certifications and has furthered her coaching education through Gold Medal Squared training.
Known for her encouraging, tough, and strategic coaching style, Coach India finds the greatest joy in watching athletes experience those breakthrough moments when hard work and persistence finally come together. She believes volleyball is about much more than developing skills. It is an opportunity for young athletes to build confidence, challenge themselves, and learn the value of being a great teammate.
Coach India hopes she has played even a small role in helping athletes discover a love for the game that will stay with them long after their playing days are over.
As she begins another season with ECVC, Coach India is excited to work with the area's youngest athletes and watch their growth, progress, and confidence develop throughout the season.
