Rabies isn’t something we talk about enough until it’s too late. In Florida, wildlife exposure is a real concern — raccoons, bats, foxes, and other animals can expose our horses, livestock, pets, and families. Rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms appear. (Florida Department of Health)

Many people are surprised to learn that while Florida law specifically requires rabies vaccines for dogs, cats, and ferrets, veterinarians and state health officials strongly recommend rabies vaccination for horses too because they absolutely can contract rabies. (Florida Department of Health)

A horse doesn’t have to leave your property to be at risk. One bite from infected wildlife is all it takes.

Vaccines are cheaper than emergencies. Cheaper than quarantine. Cheaper than heartbreak.

Check your records. Call your vet. Protect your horses. ❤️🐴

If you know, you know… finding good hay in the Florida Panhandle has become almost as difficult as finding time to ride all the horses that need ridden. Between droughts, rain, shortages, rising costs, and hauling from who knows where, quality hay has become something horse owners stress about year after year.

For several years now, we’ve been incredibly blessed with some of the best hay coming from coast to coast. The kind you open and immediately know your horses are getting quality. The kind that keeps weight on, horses happy, and gives you one less thing to worry about.

We don’t take it for granted because we know how hard good hay is to find right now. Every load that we get reminds us just how fortunate we are.

Around here, hay isn’t just hay… it’s peace of mind. Thank you Quality Hay of Fountain, FL🌾🐴

Three girls. Three red horses. One whole lot of horsepower ❤️🐴

Some friendships are built in barns, covered in dirt, and measured in miles ridden together. Just a few girls and red horses making memories one ride at a time.

The Panhandle of Florida went from praying for rain to wondering if we’ll ever dry out again 🌧️🐴

While we are all thankful to see pastures greening up after such a dry stretch, all this moisture brings more than mud. Warm temperatures + standing water + wet conditions = the perfect recipe for parasites, insects, and disease pressure to explode.

Now is the time to stay on top of your horse’s health. Keep up with deworming programs, monitor manure, reduce standing water when possible, and most importantly — make sure your horses are vaccinated. Mosquito populations explode after heavy rains and diseases don’t wait for convenient timing.

Rain makes the grass grow… but unfortunately it grows a whole lot of things we don’t want too. Stay ahead of it now so you’re not fighting problems later.

Florida horse people know… one minute we’re begging for rain and the next we’re feeding in knee deep mud 🤦‍♀️🐎

When our farrier retired, we were honestly worried. Finding someone you trust with your horses isn’t easy, especially when you’ve built relationships over years.

We are beyond thankful that Josh took us on. Finding someone who cares about the horses, takes pride in their work, and loves what they do as much as we do has been a blessing.

Good farriers don’t just trim feet — they help keep dreams moving, miles adding up, and horses feeling their best. We appreciate you more than you know, Josh. 🐴❤️

You must love dogs to visit around here… because even the horses are dog people. 🐴🐶

Some farms have guard dogs. Some farms have barn cats. Around here? We have both that run the place and the horses fully approve. If you come visit, expect muddy paw prints, slobbery greetings, dogs supervising every ride, and at least one horse looking offended if the dogs get more attention than they do.

If the horses stop what they’re doing to say hi to the dogs… you know they’re family. ❤️

Our hearts are with all of the NBHA exhibitors, families, contestants, vendors, and everyone affected in Las Vegas. What should have been a weekend filled with excitement, dreams, and making memories has turned into something heartbreaking.

To hear that multiple horses were intentionally attacked and stabbed in their stalls is something that is hard for our horse community to even comprehend. These horses are not just competitors — they are partners, family, best friends, and the heart behind everything we do. Reports indicate the horses received veterinary care and authorities say there is no ongoing threat, but the heartbreak remains.

The barrel racing world is a small one, and when tragedy strikes one of us, it affects all of us. We are thinking of every rider sitting beside their horse tonight, every family trying to process what happened, and every exhibitor carrying fear and heartbreak through what should have been an unforgettable weekend for different reasons.

Praying for healing for the horses, strength for their people, and comfort for everyone affected. Hug your horses a little tighter tonight. ❤️

Kicking off the first day of summer the best way we know how… loading hay, riding horses, cleaning stalls/trailers, sweating through clothes, and making memories in between it all. ☀️🐴🌾

Summer around here doesn’t mean slowing down—it means longer days, dirty boots, dusty trucks, sunburns, horse hair on everything, and making memories with the people and horses we love most.

It may not always be glamorous, but these are the days we’ll look back on someday and miss the most. Here’s to a summer full of hard work, good horses, and unforgettable memories. ❤️

Some horses leave hoofprints that never really go away, and we couldn’t be happier to have Lizzie back with us ❤️

This mare helped Chelsea win saddles, buckles, and make the finals at her 1st NBHA World. Before she headed off to Louisiana, she left us with a filly—and now here we are, getting the opportunity for round two.

We are beyond honored and grateful that Kelsey trusted us enough to bring her home. Sometimes the best stories deserve another chapter, and we can’t wait to see what this one holds.

Welcome home, Lizzie 🐴❤️
