Red snapper season is officially set for 2026 and it’s shaping up to be a good one.

Season runs June 1 through October 26!
If you’ve been wanting to put some big red snapper in the box, this is the time to plan it. These trips fill up fast every year, especially weekends and peak summer dates.
We’ll be running deep sea trips all season targeting red snapper along with other reef fish.

This year's Red Snapper season has been posted. June 1st - September 15th!!
Gag Grouper will open for a short period of time starting September 1st.
Greater Amberjack will open September 1st.

Success on the short bottom fishing trips! They both managed enough for dinner, and we got to play around with some other species for pictures and memories. These fish pictured are only the fish we brought back to the dock. The larger fish were safely released and waiting for us when the seasons open.

I'm not sure how long it's been since the New Beginning went offshore trolling, but we managed to find some time and get out there to the rigs. It is a lot of fun getting to hear the drag scream, and rods bend. Whether we are bottom fishing for Snappers, or trolling big lures offshore we always have fun. That's what is most important.
