Today, our Florida Elite USFA National World Series Open Division Champions along with board members Grant Wittstruck and David Dial were honored and recognized by the Bay County Board of County Commissioners for their incredible accomplishments over the past year.
This recognition is about much more than wins and championships. It's about hard work, determination, sacrifice, teamwork, and the positive impact these young athletes have made both on and off the softball field.
🥎 Florida Elite 10U, Led by Head Coach Ray Ezell and Assistant Coaches Mike Jimenez and Seth Gay, this talented group spent the Spring preparing for the 2026 USFA National World Series while competing against some of the nation's best teams in invite-only PGF tournaments in Alabama and Tennessee, finishing among the Top teams at both events.
Their season record:

They learned how to celebrate victories, overcome adversity, and grow through every challenge. Their dedication, commitment, and love for the game led them all the way to the biggest stage. In July, this Bay County team battled through the USFA National World Series Championship, coming up just ONE RUN SHORT before forcing a winner-take-all championship game. And when the moment was biggest, they answered.
