Once home to the premier billfish tournament in the south, the Bay Point Billfish Open is proud to announce the return of an elite sportfishing tournament to the all-new Point South Marina at Bay Point! Four Bay Point residents have joined forces with top tournament promoters to bring back the largest event of its kind to Panama City Beach here in Bay County. Like other popular tournaments, the Ba

y Point Billfish Open will include pelagic species such as Blue Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Dolphinfish, along with Catch and Release categories for all the Gulf of Mexico Billfish species. Prize money, combined with optional tournament entry categories is expected to exceed One Million dollars in the first year. The Bay Point Billfish Open promises to be the most thrilling and enjoyable Elite Sportfishing Tournament on the whole Northern Gulf Coast. Visit our website for more information.
