Another great weekend at the Spillway Disc Golf Course. We worked on holes 3,4,6, & 7. The long trail also got a fresh trimming. Great time to visit the park for a round of disc golf or a nature hike.

Had 3 trees down on the course from the recent storms so we got those cut up and cleared. It was a wet weekend but we were also able to mow most of hole 3 and clear the creek from end to end.

Course is really looking good. Got hole 1 cleaned up this weekend. Groundhogs are living large.

Finished clearing hole 17 this weekend. This is one of our signature holes. A 770’ Par 4 with a double mando off the tee. This hole can make or break your round. Also got some work done on the practice basket area. Recently had visitors from Indiana and Georgia out to enjoy the park. If you would like a guided tour of the park just let us know.

Course is looking great. Worked on holes 8,9,10,11,12,16,17 this weekend. Only one more hole to clean and we will finally be back to normal.

Be sure to register for the upcoming Pana Music Boosters Disc Golf Tournament at Kitchell Park Saturday August 1st 9:00am. Registration is $50 per team and all proceeds go the the Pana Music Boosters.

Spillway update. The nature trails are cleared and ready for hiking. Follow the trail markers on the trees. Worked on holes 5,6,12,13,14,15,16 over the holiday weekend. Course is really starting to look nice.

Special thanks to Outdoor Power Source for all their help with keeping our equipment running. We had 2 trees down from the storm but we got them cut up. The long hiking trail is cleared and has some Chanterelle mushrooms along the south end. Bottom holes are looking better than ever. Hope to have the entire course cleared over the next two weeks.
